Been swamped since returning from Italy last week……busy editing some pictures and will be posting some new sample work I am planning for next Fall. I am very excited about some of the things we worked on, and hope to get some good feedback when I get this blog updated during the coming week! Sorry for the pause, but stay tuned……….

Ron,
I just wanted to let you know that I am a fairly large ‘shoe horse’ and think your work is fantastic. I hope you will consider making the (special)longwing in Whiskey Antique Shell Cordovan with Black inking that you pictured a couple of months ago a standard product. I’m already saving my pennies and hoping to come back to you asking for the same thing shortly. How long do you think it would take once I ordered this to receive?

I appreciate the compliment! At this point, I think the longwing will be a special order only option…..I do specials on a regular basis, so an order can be processed at any time and without difficulties. Honestly, the boot sales have been going well, and I found that I stretched the material supply on-hand abit by detailing shoes as well, and have missed/backordered the basic Chukka boots due to this – for my investment boots will be the direction and I can accomodate shoe requests on a case-by-case basis. The normal processing time for a special (assuming material on-hand) is 4-6 weeks….if I have to wait for a delivery from Horween, longer. It also depends if I am going to the factory, as I will usually bring specials back with me, so it does depend on my schedule sometimes.
