The hits just keep on coming…….now in-stock is RBCH1, our first Chelsea Boot done here in Waxy Kudu (which is an oiled calfskin) on 40 last (runs 1/2 size big from first fits this week in the shop….please size DOWN 1/2 size) with a Vibram Lug sole and heavy ‘Magnum’ double storm welting.  This is one big Chelsea -

Very happy that the first MTO Button Boots and Balmoral Boots have been met with success on the set of HBO’s ‘Boardwalk Empire’.  We received a note this week from the wardrobe department saying ‘the boots are a huge hit on the set!’.  Unfortunately, I don’t have pics of the first boots delivered, as they had to be custom made on a MTO 12B last and rushed from Italy direct to NY to meet the shooting schedule, but are similiar to these:

Big thanks again to the wardrobing crew doing this project…..I appreciate the involvement!  HBO will be airing this new series in the Fall, and it looks like an interesting show:

Previously only done in Shell Cordovan, I now have limited runs of RPBP2 in calfskin (#2=calfskin code) both black and brown smooth.  Made on 42 last and featuring the Sestriere outsole this boot has been a quick seller in the past.

…..a couple boots heading out to some friends:

The Classic wingtip boot (RBWB2) in black calf is headed to Heimie’s in St. Paul (same boot in brown coming in next delivery for them) and the brown calf wingtip boot (RBWBX2) sans medallion is going to a friend in the NY area (if you have an interest in this boot, best to send me a note….this shop is more a locals shop and not really into phone sells and they only did a few pair – but I thought the boot turned out real well and wanted to have in the archive).
