Ron,
Rust, and the “original” hobo have such an interesting finish. Do you think you could post something on how it is done? It seems like whatever is done to them would make the leather dry from the inside and crack and such, but having seen them in person this isn’t the case at all. I understand if it is a secret of yours though!

Actually, we buy this leather as it is and do very little in finishing….the tannery does some protecting, and all we really have to do is some brushing – want a vintage look with this. No real secrets…..pretty basic stuff.
